April 7th will mark 12 years since Redscroll Records opened their doors for the first time.
Since their genesis, Redscroll has gone beyond the walls of their shop. Even before opening their doors they’ve been involved in the local music community in myriad ways: putting on concerts, promoting like-minded shows, putting out music on our own in-house label by local artists (some of which have gone on to have international success!), and in September of 2017 they even started a podcast focused on Connecticut musical artists. This year they have 6 releases (mostly full length LPs and at least one cassette and one 7” record) slated for release.
In addition, Redscroll will be taking part in RECORD STORE DAY which is a separate event from the sale on April 13th. They’ll be open 8AM-8PM on RECORD STORE DAY, Saturday, April 13th and will have goodie-bags and RSD special items.
Redscroll’s Birthday sale starts on Friday, April 5th and goes all the way until Friday, April 12th. Facebook Event here.
