Middlesex County originated indie rock band Call It Arson has been intermittently active in the past few years, with both frontmen keeping busy with solo projects: James Downes has been releasing new singles under his Haunted Continents project, and Ryan White just released an excellent solo LP among his work in various other bands.

Recently, the band announced its first show in quite some time. Call It Arson will be performing at The State House in New Haven with Giles Corey and more TBA. Event Page here.

For those not familiar with the mid-2000s heyday of the band, the band’s self-titled album and Animal Strings album are beloved by those who are familiar with them, and rightfully so. Tracks like “Eliza” and “To My Crew” are still a testament to each songwriter’s early talent (and vocal chops) which still resonate to this day.
