Last week, New Britain grunge folk band City Streets Country Roads released their excellent new album …And The World Turned Ever So Slowly, a ghostly blend of whiskey soaked existentialism and heavy sax solos.
While the record starts with a handful of slow burners, its eighth track, “Pacifist Prole” is a fiery standout, crashing out the gates with a throbbing pulse of rhythm and ominous urgency that never quite lets up.
