Last year, New Haven, CT garage folk Elison Jackson released Silver Sounds: Hallucinations, a dense and trippy addition to their already psych-leaning Spectral Evidence catalog.
Following that release, the band has shared the music video for EP highlight “Ghost Fucker”, and it makes Hallucinations sound like an overwhelmingly modest description of a bad trip.
Directed by David Van Witt & Anna mira Fitzgerald, the music video for “Ghost Fucker” captures the sinking feeling of the song’s hypnotic descending guitar and pairs it with a nightmarish dystopian world full of bad talk shows, imaginary figures, and unidentifable emotions.
Elison Jackson are currently finishing up their new album and will be playing a short run of dates in late March.
